Pavlik harness is a type of hip orthosis for hip disorder observed in children. It consists of straps and soft material covering the shoulders, abdomen and the legs for placement of femural head into the acetabulum. Light in weight and effective for proper development of bones in children.

Club foot is a disorder seen in infants which is a combination of foot deformities. A Dennis Brown (DB) splint is indicated to correct the deformities without surgical intervention. The design of the splint consists of shoes fixed on a bar which is fastened with straps onto the legs of the infants for correction. After the child started walking a CTEV shoe is recomended.
